Completing 25 years by any institution is indeed a milestone for it. From very humble beginnings in January, 1987, the school today is the pride of Narela and adjoining places, catering to the educational needs of about two thousand students. What started as a vision has gone on to become an epitome of success. DAV Centenary Public School is under the Direct control of DAV College Managing Committee, Chitra Gupta Road, New Delhi, which runs the largest non-government educational institutions in the country. With every passing year the school is continuously gaining in strength and popularity.

A School today is no longer just a means of spreading scholastic knowledge to students but a place where holistic development of a child takes place. We at DAV School, Narela firmly believe in shaping the overall personality of the students not only to help them pursue successful career but also to be a good human being. It is with this motive in mind that the school constantly endeavours to impart moral and ethical values among the students to give them the strength of character which will help them face any adversity in life with ease. Moreover, students are being imparted the knowledge of life skills and ways to tackle any kind of eventually in case of man made or natural disasters.

The world today is governed by technology and the field of education has not been left behind. Our school is in league with the other leading schools in Delhi which make maximum use of technology to make learning a joyful process.

Our students have excelled themselves in various fields ranging from academics and sports to co-curricular activities. The school would not have been what it is today without the support of our parents. I thank all the parents who have unconditionally supported the school in all its endeavors.

It has been a memorable journey of twenty eight long years for the school. In these 28 years for the school. I sincerely hope that we have been successful in imparting the gift of knowledge to students to enable them to be prepared for the journey called life. I am optimistic that with the support of the students, staff and parents, DAV Centenary Public School, Narela will be instrumental in redefining the concept of education.
